Dominican Republic new 2,000-peso dominicano note confirmed

2,000 pesos dominicanos, 2014. On 2 October 2014, the Banco Central de la República Domincano issued a new family of notes dated 2014 with enhanced security features and redesigned images. According to a press release, the notes are printed by De La Rue.
This denomination is very similar in color to the new 500-peso dominicano note of the same family. I would not be surprised if one of these is reissued in a more distinct color because it's very confusing to the public when two notes are visually so similar.
