Guinea new 20,000-franc note (B344a) confirmed introduced 21.01.2019

According to a communiqué dated 5 February 2019, the Banque Centrale de la République de Guinée introduced a new 20,000-franc note on 21 January 2019. The new note retains the overall design of the preceding issues (B338a), but is physically smaller, has varnish coating for improved durability, two pigeons printed with a color-changing optical effect, and a gold-to-green security thread. The new note will circulate in parallel with the preceding issues.
